Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

A large part of moving to WA was to living a colder climate for the huskies. Of course, we hoped for snow, but everyone who lives in our little town told us not to get out hopes up. Then yesterday, it starts to snow. Small little flakes that felt more like rain than anything else, but still exciting. Over the course of the day, you could even see patches of white of ground.

I was happy with that.

Until, this morning, it was like our yard was covered in goose-down comforters. And I was giddy, straight up giddy. Until we saw that Ray Charles, our partially blind husky, was limping. And BW said no one could go outside.

Worst. Day. Ever.

I sat inside with six whining dogs, who all wanted to go outside, and watched it snow all day. I’m not sure who felt more tortured – them or me.
