The book is done. I’m happy with the edits. Amazing writing partner is happy with the edits. It has enough romance to be a romance. And I’ve taken all the bad guy POV out so the manuscript itself is not having an identity crisis.
It should feel good. But instead it feels anticlimactic. It’s not like it’s being published, cause now I have to work on that side of things. Which means writing a query, a blurb, a log line, and a synopsis. Yeah, okay, I’ll just condense 79000 words in 1000 and you’ll totally get what the book is about Mr. Publisher. Piece of cake.
Shitty cake.
This year’s NaNoWriMo will be the 3rd book in the series, and in the meantime I’ll start editing book 2. I think I may want to do a book 4 on a male character, but I’m not 100% sure yet.
Exciting stuff, huh.
I know.
I’m only writing this shit because I didn’t write anything else today and I need to write everyday.
Lucky you.
