Unless, I suppose you like the holidays. Then it would just be the holidays are upon us with no hell to be had.
I go back and forth.
I like the idea of holidays all the time. But the reality rarely measures up.
In my mind, it's a nice relaxing day with good food, nice wine, leisurely conversation, blah, blah, blah.
In reality, its usually hectic trying to time the food to be ready at the same time, find enough seating for everyone, fight over whether to watch TV or listen to music, make sure the kids have something they'll actually eat, and make sure the dogs don't eat everything else, blah, blah, blah.
It's also possible that I'm a Scrooge. If I am, we'll blame BW.
I go back and forth on that too.
That said, I had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend. If you celebrate the holiday, what did you do? Was it nice?
